1,Disadvantage

#1, waste time, not appreciate book, fake relationship
Many people are just addicted to the internet. They can"t stop browsing, they are hooked on gaming and they spend too much time indoors. Instead of going out for a walk or play outside, they sit behind their computers for hours. A sad consequence of the addiction is that they are so used to high speed information by just clicking on the next link that they can no longer appreciate a good book, or a nice conversation with a friend. Their family life suffers and their only relationships are online " they can"t cope in the real world.

#2, social problems
Everywhere you go you see people looking down on their phones using social medias. People are busy using the internet and didn"t cherish the time they had with their friend and friends. Some people also got cyber-bullied on the internet. The internet might have bring us useful information and also make the world a smaller place. I think that the internet bring us more harm than goods into our lives. The internet decreased our social life time. People are busy using their phone and all the free time you had are wasted on the internet when it can actually be a time that you can use it to exercise or hang out with your friends or also do something meaningful in you life. Therefore, internet can not only distance you and your friends in real life and also waste you time.

#3 for kid (porn videos), advertisement
there are a number of harmful websites and also contents that are not suppose to be view by young kids or teenager. There are a number of pop out advertisements that usually leads to pornography websites that innocent young kids will be curious about the pop out websites and go click on it. They would be badly distracted by the websites as its bad for young kids to see those unsuitable contents. Therefore, not all the websites on the internet are safe for all ages.

#4 unhealthy
The internet has made people lazy. They can pay their pay bills online and and shop online, so they do not have to leave their home. Therefore, people tend to stay at home most of time and make them failing to take exercise they grow fat and unhealthy. . Also at the same time, the internet is a threat to the eye. Researcher have proven that many people tend to play their handphone for a long period of time which is very harmful to their eye.

The internet can lead someone to have unhealthy health . As people usually use computer for very long hours . During the period when they use their computer , they are either using it correctly or wrongly . Teenagers nowadays , uses a wide range of their time on gaming which is a bad symptoms of their health . Gaming for a wide range of time can cause damage to someone's eyes can they might have to wear spectacles therefore
 
#5 the risk of purchase online
People usually buy merchandise through online market such as Gmarket . Sometimes , the sellers may not be trustable . In some situation , when the buyer transferred their money to the seller bank account . The seller claimed that they would deliver the purchased items but in the end not only that they did not deliver the purchased items , they also took the money that the buyer transferred to their account as an advantage . There are a lot of disadvantages for the buyers as if they are conned they would lose their money . Overall , i agree to ' Internet brings more harm than good ' as Internet is not a safe site for all Children , Teenagers and Adults . Many inappropriate actions may happen through online .

#6 the othersSocial networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are places where people express their opinion. Due to internet freedom, we cannot control some of the things people say that are negative and insulting therefore causing trouble for the person receiving those messages. The other party might not be able to cope with the situation and may be upset, either starting an argument or being so troubled that they do not feel safe. This could lead to a bigger disaster like suicide.

Further more, the Internet makes us able to watch videos, read books and we can excess a wide variety of games. This, however, can become addictive and people end up not living healthily. Some may skip work or school and not go out to see friends or family. This is especially true for youths as they would rather play games than study. Moreover, people become so busy on the Internet they forget to eat, drink and go on without sleep. They will not go out and exercise and everything will lead to the body and mind to deteriorate into nothing.

2, Advantage
#1 educationThe internet is used for many things,people use it for their studies,projects and researches on the internet. The other thing is:  internet lets student go online and do their work online without having to meet.When teacher and student are unable to meet they are able to go online to complete their work and teachers may help students if they require assistance in their revision teacher may send the student the steps to do it in their online and help the students in many ways

#2 buy thingsPeople can use the internet to buy things.The people who are using the internet are there and it is useful as they can buy online items without going out making it very useful for people who dislike going out to buy things and may just buy it online.Therefore,the internet is good as it helps people who are lazy to contact the people who are selling the product they need and buy it online.
#3 connects people around the world, give infomation, knowledge
The internet connects people around the world which we do not know. The internet have been connecting people. Without the internet we will all just be someone without knowing the world. The internet have answers to mostly all the questions you have been thinking since young. But now with the internet , we may know more about the world and things which are happening everyday. The internet connects friends and helps us with works which requires answers and pictures and research.

Before the Internet it was difficult to keep in communication with friends and family who were not living in the same places; communication was to sending pictures and letters by mail and making long distance phone calls, which could be costly. With the advent of the Internet came e-mail, instant messaging, and the result of social networking sites like Facebook, all of this give us the tools to communicate in an instant at very little cost. With tools like Skype we can chat face to face with people on the other side of the globe. In addition to keeping up with established relationships, these tools also help us to interact with more people from other cultures, it can also help to further of our understanding of people from other backgrounds.

With the internet access ,people can set their timetable using computer.Thus,this may help them to cope with their time and use it wisely.Some people do not like outdoor ativity which they can find more information about indoor acticities through internet access.

Topic: advantage and disadvantage of the internet

 The Internet is a global information system. Nowadays, the internet is popular everywhere in the world. The Internet provides many useful utilities for users but besides that it also has negative. I will analysis advantages and disadvantages of Internet specifically.

The first, the Internet is a big store of information. Any kind of information on any topic is available on the Internet. You can find it by the most popular search engines, for example: google.com, search.com, yahoo.com, etc. Beside, you can share information with other people around the world.

Secondly, the Internet connects many people all over the world. Stay up date with happening in the whole world and the new technology and information. You can get latest news of the world on the Internet. Most of the newspapers of the world are also available on the Internet. It easier to stay in touch with your friends by chatting, e-mail messages, forum….

 Another benefit, there are many services on internet. Such as online banking, jobseeking, purchasing tickets for your favorite movies, and hotel reservations.  Especially entertainment, you can see movies, listen music etc… You can play games with other people in any part of the world and there are many games for you choose.

Online education is also popular on the internet. Many websites provide lectures, books and documents on different subjects or topics. You can also download these lectures into your own computer. You can listen and see these lectures repeatedly and get a lot of knowledge.

Besides, there are also disadvantages. Children can connect to these websites that are for adult only. They can see the information which is not good. This is perhaps the biggest threat related to your children's healthy mental life.

 Another drawback, today, Internet is the most popular source of spreading viruses. These viruses create different problems in your computer .Viruses that can attack your privacy and get some information about you. It’s hard to predict what will happen if you were hacked the account information.

 The next drawback is accuracy of information. A lot of information stored is stored on the websites. Some information may be incorrect or not. Sometimes you may be confused.

 Another problem is the wastage of times. A lot of time is wasted to collect the information on the Internet. Some people waste a lot of time in chatting or to play games.

At home and offices, many people use Internet without any positive purpose.

In conclusion, there are many advantages and disadvantages of the Internet, Depend on you, it will be the advantages or disadvantage. You should balance study and play.

Describe a piece of electronic equipment you find useful. You should say:

- what it is
- how you learned to use it
- how long you have had it

and explain why you find this piece of electronic equipment useful.

Well, the internet is essential, but that’s not really ‘equipment’, so I’d have to say my laptop computer. I use it for work and a lot of other things too so I’d be really lost without it. I’ve had one for about 10 years. I’ve had different makes and models, but I think I’d have to say that I’m using it more now than ever before. Like I said, I use it for work everyday, so that’s a lot of hours I spend using it, and then I also use it for personal reasons, you know, emails, chatting or calling my friends, surfing on the internet for information, banking transactions, booking tickets and many other things.

I don’t really think I learned to use it, that’s to say I didn’t take any classes or anything, it’s more a case of over the years I’ve discovered just what you can do with some of the applications. I’m not a tech geek or anything like that, so unless I need to do something I won’t bother to find out about it. When I have a need to do something then normally the first thing I do is to look on the internet to find out about it, then when I find the information I need or an application I can use I download it and start experimenting with it until I can do what I wanted to do. The good thing about the internet is that there’s a lot of advice and information about almost anything you might need to do, so it never takes long to find out how to do something new.

As I said earlier, I’d be lost without it. A big part of my day revolves around my laptop and in many cases it really is essential for many of my daily activities. Sometimes it’s difficult to even try and imagine life without it. So in terms of being useful, really, it’s essential and I think that the fact that it’s become such a big part of my daily life just shows how technology really does change the way we live and work, as ten years ago I lived quite happily without one.

What kinds of machine are used for housework in modern homes in your country?
Well, we have the normal things like vacuum cleaners, automatic washing machines and for helping in the kitchen the usual microwave oven, blender and other electric kitchen appliances. 

How have these machines benefited people? Are there any negative effects of using them?
Certainly I think the vacuum cleaner has made life much easier for people who have carpets in their home. I mean, can you imagine trying to clean a carpet without one. It must have been a lot of work before they were invented. I think many people would say that the automatic washing machine has maybe had the most impact in terms of saving time and energy for washing clothes on a regular basis. It’s so easy now just to put the clothes in and leave them and then return later and take them out and that’s it - done. In fact, we take it for granted, but only a couple of generations ago we were still washing clothes by hand, which must have been very time consuming.

I don’t think there are any negative effects of using such machines, apart from the increased energy consumption, but really, nowadays most people don’t have the option of doing things in the same way as their grandparents did. I mean, the pace of life is so fast now that people need all the help they can get from machines, to help save them time.

Do you think all new homes will be equipped with household machines in the future? Why?
That’s a distinct possibility, that homes will come with everything you need in terms of automation as an integral part of the package, so you won’t need to go and buy any of these machines, they will come as part of the home. It would make a lot of sense in most cases, and I think that in the future we will have even more machines helping us as the way we live continues to change and evolve.
